Munnar in Kerala brims with flourishing tea gardens, shimmering lakes and rustic little hill-station. Tea lovers must visit TATA Tea Museum in Munnar where you will learn a lot about the history of Tea Plantation. This museum tells you a lot about the cultivation, plucking, drying and packaging of Tea. Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is another fascinating place to relish vistas of sprawling tea plantation at an altitude of 8000 ft. Visit here and relish the taste of some mouth watering tea.

Munnar houses an incredible wildlife which can be spotted at the Eravikulam National Park here.  Here you can spot the endangered Nilgiris Tahr apart from Neelakurinji flowers which bloom once after every 12 years. One must also take an exciting excursion to the Carmelagiri Elephant Park in Munnar where you can enjoy elephant rides. This is a great place to catch sights of green slopes, extensive tea plantation, and numerous elephants.
